Amazon has announced the launch of its cloud service for video games: “Luna”, which is expected to compete with Sony-like services and can take advantage of the new service for owners of mobile phones, laptops and desktop computers operating Windows, Android and iPhone systems with the possibility of connecting them to external cameras and microphones to give the user better effects while playing and users can then broadcast games directly to these devices at 1080p and 60 FPS.
This service was revealed in the previous year, but Amazon did not provide it then except for a specific number of users to test it, and today it became available to users and it is an official in the United States, it is noteworthy that Amazon confirmed the launch of the service in several other countries during the coming period.
Users can get games and its cloud services by subscribing to paid channels, moreover, the basic channel of this service offers more than 100 video games, while the family channel includes about 35 games suitable for different ages for all members of the family and the cost of “Amazon Luna” is currently 5.99 per month but will change from the first of April, becoming 9.99 per month.
"Luna" allows players to directly access the video games they want via cloud computing on the device they want while paying attention to the quality of the internet connection and the current game they are trying to play and broadcast.
Amazon recommends certain internet speeds so you can enjoy uninterrupted gameplay and most plans at Luna are paid plans and not free except for the only plan available to Amazon Prime subscribers.
Amazon has also announced three new channels via Luna and the channels are considered an expression of service for the group of games that can be subscribed to monthly, for this goal, the company introduced a new streaming button that allows players to stream the game live with the camera feed superimposed across the screen.in addition, Amazon says the joystick that appears across the screen is an option for players without a joystick who want to check side scrolling programs and role-based games.
Amazon entered recently the world of metaverse through a three-dimensional web game where players can move and live in a virtual city this game helps people to solve technology problems through the cloud algorithm also works as an educational tool to teach people how to use cloud services.
